Strawberry-Cantaloupe-Pear Juice
Strawberries pressed with melon, pear, ginger and lemon make this unique recipe the best for summertime!
Ingredients
cantaloupe | 9.48 oz | 269 g | 1/5 medium melon |
pear | 5.6 oz | 159 g | 1 medium pear |
strawberry | 2.41 oz | 68 g | 6 strawberries |
lemon | 0.72 oz | 20 g | 1/5 medium lemon |
ginger | 0.2 oz | 6 g | 3/4 inch ginger root |
Directions

Wash and weigh the ingredients.

Peel and deseed the cantaloupe.

Quarter the lemon (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the lemon and juice with the rest of the ingredients.

Grind and press the remaining ingredients together.

This is great as a seasonal recipe. In the US, June is prime time for strawberries, and cantaloupes best season is from June until August. When produce is “in season”, it tastes the best, is readily available, and typically is less expensive.
