Juice Shot: Fresh Ginger Cleanse with Carrot, Lemon, Turmeric & Cayenne
This fresh ginger cleanse juice shot is easy to make and helps reduce inflammation as well as supports digestive health.
Ingredients
ginger | 8.5 oz | 241 g | 1 1/2 cups chopped ginger |
lemon (peeled) | 8.2 oz | 232 g | 2 medium lemons |
carrot | 4.3 oz | 122 g | 2 medium carrots |
turmeric | 1.5 oz | 43 g | 15 slices (1" diameter) |
cayenne | 1 pinch | ground |
Directions

Wash the produce.

Peel the lemons and remove the carrot tops.

Weigh the ingredients.

Grind and press.

Mix a pinch of cayenne into each serving.

Experiment with using peeled lemons and with leaving the peels on, notice the difference in flavor.

I like to remove the top ends of the carrots due to the fact that it’s tough to remove all the dirt.

If turmeric root is unavailable, you can sub ground turmeric. For every 1 ounce of turmeric root, use 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
