Mixed Berry Smoothie Health Benefits
It is loaded with antioxidants from blueberry, blackberry, elderberry, and pomegranate. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals in our bodies, and as a result may help strengthen our immune system and prevent unwanted inflammatory responses.

A Healthy Breakfast
“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” We have heard this so many times, and we know its true, but why? Break-fast “breaks your (overnight) fast”, kickstarting your metabolism to boost your energy, alertness, and help you burn calorie calories throughout the day. Therefore, the healthier the breakfast, the better your day will be!

How To Make a Berry Smoothie
Is it ok to mix berries with milk? What kind of berries should be used in smoothies? These are all great questions when it comes to learning how to make a berry smoothie.
We like to use yogurt in our berry smoothie recipe, but if you don’t have any on hand you could use milk instead. If you want to make it vegan, just use non-dairy yogurt and swap the honey for maple syrup or agave nectar. We used both Greek yogurt and plant-based yogurt and both turned out great.
My favorite plant-based yogurt is Culina, a craft fermented, coconut-based yogurt that is super thick and creamy.
